In 2019 the vision to create The Oklahoma Women's Journal (OWJ), a LOCAL women owned & ran

publication created to amplify women's voices, was born.

As individuals today we are constantly being influenced by what society deems as acceptable when it comes to the way we dress, speak or act. Our mission at the OWJ is to create a printed tangible journal for women, by women. This journal allows all women a safe space they can submit their writing, art, poetry, recipes, fashion, creative work, etc., as a means of healing for not only themselves but for anyone who reads.

Each staff member of the OWJ volunteers their time to aid in the growth of this publication.

As an independent, local publication, our goal is to be a freely accessible magazine to women all over our state. && in order to make this possible, we need your help!
